Coffee Pot Reviews: Romancing the Holiday by Jaci Burton, HelenKay Dimon, Christi Barth, Angela James,(Editor)

Coffee Pot Reviews

Welcome to Coffee Pot Reviews! These are short and sweet reviews done in the length of time it takes my coffee pot to brew! Romancing the Holiday is a wonderful book that contains three delightful holiday stories about Love. While two of them are from series, let me assure you this did not affect my enjoyment. Below you will find my review of each of those tales.

Romancing the Holiday
by Jaci Burton, Helen Kay Dimon, Christi Barth, Angela James,(Editor)
Series: Holloway #3
Publisher: Carina Press
Publication date: December 3, 2012
Genre: Contemporary Romance/Holiday
Purchase: Barnes and Noble/Amazon

We wish you a merry Christmas…and a happily ever after! A memorable three-night stand gets rekindled in a cabin in West Virginia. An office romance is sparked by an impulsive holiday kiss. And two best friends scout locations for a marriage proposal and discover that they make a perfect match. 'Tis the season for laughter, love and a lifetime of happiness.

We'll Be Home for Christmas (Holloway #3) by HelenKay Dimon was a delightful romance about Spence and Lila. As strangers they spent three glorious days and nights in an upscale hotel and parted ways. Both remember those nights fondly, but never expect to cross paths again. The world is a much smaller place then they both imagined and fate has different plans. When Lila buys her Uncle's cabins in West Virginia and finds out Spence is her neighbor both of their worlds get turned upside down. I loved the interaction between these too and the sexual tension was electrifying. Spence's family and the meddlesome folks of this small mountain town made me laugh. This is a place I would definitely revisit and I plan to grab the other Holloway books.

Ask Her at Christmas by Christi Barth was a heartwarming tale about Caitlin and Kyle. She has always loved Kyle her best friend, but never said a word. When he asks for her help to propose to another woman the tale that unfolds is delicious and I became completely wrapped up in the events. While both characters were not without flaws and a couple of times I wanted to knock them over the heads, I understood a lot of their actions and hoped like crazy they'd figure things out before it was too late. This was a clean, sweet tale and I enjoyed the magic of the holiday.

The Best Thing by Jaci Burton (Kent Brothers #3) shares the story of Tori and Brody who apparently made an appearance in another Kent Brother's tale and kissed. While I did not read the previous books, I was able to grasp their story. Since the kiss things have been awkward between them. Burton did a wonderful job of fleshing them out, and I found myself swept up in their romance. Overall, this was my favorite of the three tales.
