When he discovers his daughter's corpse in a deserted beachfront bungalow, devastated Ezekiel Cooper vows to find her murderer. The former NYPD detective doesn't know there have been other victims, women who seemingly had nothing in common, aside from a grisly fate. Then Coop crosses paths with Cara Callahan, who's determined to lure her sister's killer by transforming herself into someone just like her. But Cara's plan may be working too well. Because lurking in the shadows, just as Coop feared, the Night Caller watches her every move. . .preparing to strike again. While the author is new to me, this suspenseful thriller sounds like it has all the elements I love; a serial killer, a former officer, and a fearless woman looking to trap her sister's killer..oh yeah! perfect summer storm read!

Is Eve willing to pay the price?Merilynn- Ever since childhood, Merilynn has had a sixth sense about things to come. She’s blessed with uncanny powers of perception—and cursed with unspeakable visions of unholy terror. Things that corrupt the souls of women, and crush the hearts of men. Things that can drive a girl to murder, suicide, or worse…Samantha- Journalism major Sam Penrose is tough, tenacious—and too curious for her own good. She’s determined to unearth the truth about the sorority. But the only way to expose this twisted sisterhood is from within…

The Night Caller is right up my street, sounds great :-)
OMG, both sound so good. But the Night Caller gave me the chills when I read the blurb. I will have to look into that one.

The second book sounds familiar. Think I recall another series with this title, but I never read it...although it's been so long I cannot be sure. Hate when that happens! Hope you enjoy these once you get to read them!

thanks Christa I thought so too!
If it's done well I enjoy them so we shall see!
I, too, have a thing for boarding schools with elite, exclusive clubs. However, I'm not crazy about split narratives. Though, as always, I'm sure it all depends on the execution!
Ruby's Reads
"Sexual Magic" really caught my attention;) I love the sound of both books, but The Sorority is definitely going on my Goodreads list. Thanks for suggesting! Here's my WOW.
hehehe..agreed!
Whoa. The Sorority sounds AMAZING Kimba! I need it to be August immediately. I'm with you on boarding schools and elite clubs, add in some sex magic and sacrifice and I'm sold a thousand times over. I will be stalking NetGalley hoping Kensington puts that book up and I get approved so I can get my hands on it asap!
yeah between the cover and synopsis i was drooling!
I hadn't heard of the Sorority yet, but it sounds really interesting. I'm a sucker for elite clubs, too, so I'll definitely be adding this to my TBR. Great pick!

Right..and its NA..so I am anxious to try it!
I missed 'The Night Caller' on the list! Maybe it'll be back on this month's list.

So am I and they mail me books too..I do love the authors and titles they have:)
Of the two listed, the second catches my eyes the most....though I'm a bit curious if from that description it'll be one of those that crosses the line of what we consider YA lit to be. We shall see....great picks though!
aah it's New Adult so yes it shall cross that line!
i thought so too, thanks Ellen!
Kensington made the mistake of auto approving me on NetGalley, and now I'm just tempted to download all their titles. ;) These both sound great! I especially can't wait to find out more about The Night Caller. Awesome picks, Kimba.
I'm also auto-approved. I have to apply great restraint. LOL
you are welcome Sharon!
thanks Jennifer glad I could share a new one for ya!
