"Waiting On" Wednesday is a weekly meme
by Cat Patrick
Publisher: Little Brown Books
Publication date: May 7, 2013
Genre: YA Science Fiction
Purchase: Barnes and Noble/Amazon/Book Depository
A riveting new story from Cat Patrick, author of Forgotten and Revived. This has me curious about how the clones were created and how this family came to hide them and of course will young love reveal their secret?
17-year-olds Lizzie, Ella, and Betsey Best grew up as identical triplets... until they discovered a shocking family secret. They're actually closer than sisters, they're clones. Hiding from a government agency that would expose them, the Best family appears to consist of a single mother with one daughter named Elizabeth. Lizzie, Ella, and Betsey take turns going to school, attending social engagements, and a group mindset has always been a de facto part of life...Then Lizzie meets Sean Kelly, a guy who seems to see into her very soul. As their relationship develops, Lizzie realizes that she's not a carbon copy of her sisters; she's an individual with unique dreams and desires, and digging deeper into her background, Lizzie begins to dismantle the delicate balance of an unusual family that only science could have created.
Walking Disaster
by Jamie McGuire
Series Beautiful #2
Publisher: Atria/Simon & Schuster
Publication date: April 16, 2013
Genre: New Adult Contemporary Romance
Purchase: Barnes and Noble/Amazon/Book Depository
Beautiful Disaster told in Travis point of view.
How much is too much to love? Travis Maddox learned two things from his mother before she died: Love hard. Fight harder. In Walking Disaster, the life of Travis is full of fast women, underground gambling, and violence. Just when he thought he was invincible, Abby Abernathy brings him to his knees. Every story has two sides. In Jamie McGuire's New York Times bestseller Beautiful Disaster Abby had her say. Now it's time to see the story through Travis's eyes.
I really enjoyed Beautiful Disaster(my review) and am loving this new adult genre. I am anxious to get inside Travis's head and to see what McGuire reveals.
What book(s) are you Waiting On??

The Originals sounds really good! The cover could be better so I am glad you picked it.

Have heard of the first author but never sampled their work....as for the second, I know quite a few that will be clamoring for it. Shall prepare the bookstore for the onslaught!

I'll tell ya, taking a month off makes for a whole fresh start in books when you return. So many new books to keep an eye out for. These are new to me, and sound amazing! Thanks!
Yes, college age or under thirty.
"New Adult" is a new one for me. Is that like "not as young" YA?
I love the synopsis of The Originals! I don't know if I wanna get inside Travis' head but I like the cover of Walking Disaster.
The Originals looks great! I really enjoyed Revived, by Patrick, and think I would enjoy this too. Thanks for sharing!
I have not tried this author and am excited to do so.
I like both of your choices.
