Reckless
by S.C. Stephens
Series: Thoughtless #3
Publisher: Gallery Books
Publication date: March 5, 2013
Genre: New Adult Contemporary
Purchase*: Barnes and Noble/Amazon/Book Depository

Can love survive when life gets Reckless? When the band hits it big, Kiera and Kellan must ask themselves: Can their love for each other survive the constant pressures of superstardom? The friendships they've formed, the new family they've found, and the history they've forged will all play a part in helping them navigate the turbulent waters of the band's exploding popularity. A greedy executive hell-bent on success, a declining pop star looking for an edge, and a media circus that twists lies into truths are just some of the obstacles the lovers will have to overcome if they are going to remain together. Fame comes with a price-but will it cost Kiera and Kellan everything?
As you all know I have been gobbling up New Adult books like crack and recently scooped up Thoughtless and Effortless. (look for my thoughts in an upcoming Coffee Pot Review). I have heard nothing but wonderful things about the series from some of my favorite peeps!

The Fairest of Them All
by Carolyn Turgeon
Publisher: Simon & Schuster
Publication date:  August 6, 2013
Genre: YA Fantasy
Purchase: Barnes and Noble/Amazon/Book Depository

What if Rapunzel was Snow White’s evil stepmother? From the author of Godmother and Mermaid, The Fairest of Them All explores what happens when fairy tale heroines grow up and don’t live happily ever after. Living in an enchanted forest, Rapunzel spends her days tending a mystical garden with her adoptive mother, Mathena. A witch, Mathena was banished from court because of her magic powers, though the women from the kingdom still seek her advice and herbal remedies. She waits, biding her time to exact revenge against those who betrayed her. One day Rapunzel’s beautiful voice and long golden locks captivate a young prince hunting in the forest nearby. Overcome, he climbs her hair up to her chamber and they fall into each other’s arms. But their afternoon of passion is fleeting, and the prince must return to his kingdom, as he is betrothed to another. Now king, he marries his intended to bring peace to his kingdom. They have a stunning daughter named Snow White. Yet the king is haunted by his memories of Rapunzel, and after the mysterious death of his wife, realizes he is free to marry the woman he never stopped longing for. In hopes of also replacing the mother of his beloved daughter, the king makes Rapunzel his queen.
I love fairy-tale retellings and between the gorgeous cover and Rapunzel being Snow White's evil stepmother I cannot wait to read this one!

If I say "ditto" and "ditto" are those meaningless comments? :D They're both great-looking books, I had Reckless on my list of to-buys and oh my, The Fairest of Then All is going on it right now.

That sounds like an interesting retelling with Rapunzel and Snow White's Evil Stepmother! I never started the Thoughtless series as I felt it would be a bit too much drama for me but I've heard good things about it.
My WOW
