The Sunday Post ~sharing blog news and book haul
The Sunday Post ~ 29th Edition
The Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted by Kimba the Caffeinated Book Reviewer ~ It's a chance to share news~ A post to recap the past week on your blog, showcase books and things we have received and share news about what is coming up on our blog for the week ahead. This month I have been bringing you a wide array of genres and I hope you are enjoying them. I am delighted to be a co-host for a fabulous event in February called, "Fiery Hot Reads for Icy Cold Nights". It's a blog hop and I hope you will sign up to share your favorite fiery hot read and giveaway. This should be a fantastic event and a great way to share, meet new bloggers and grow your blog. On a personal note; My husband has been working almost two hours away and each day commutes back and forth. We have been planning to move once our daughter graduated this year. I am tickled pink to share that he was offered and accepted a position right here in town. No moving boxes! Yay! After three years of that awful commute it will be so nice for my hubby to have a fifteen minute ride to work.
Last week on the blog I brought you:
- The Kingdom by Amanda Stevens (review)
- Death and the Girl Next Door by Darynda Jones (review-giveaway)
- Waiting on Wednesday
- The Promise by Kate Worth (review and awesome giveaway)
- My Kind of Christmas by Robyn Carr (review)
- Owelet by Emma Michaels (excerpt, guest post, giveaway)
This week on the blog look for:
- Avon Books Double-header The Second Seduction of A Lady and The Importance of Being Wicked by Miranda Neville (review)
- River Road by Suzanne Johnson (review)
- Waiting on Wednesday
- Kissing Under the Mistletoe by Marina Adair (review and giveaway)
- Asleep Without Dreaming by Barbara Forte Abate (review)
- Blogger Tips and Tricks #4 (scrolling blogrolls, grow your blog and how to have daily content)
Around the Blogosphere:
- Do not forget to sign up the Fiery Hot Reads for Icy Cold Nights Giveaway Hop ~ share your favorite book/author/series.
- I was interviewed by the lovely author Stacey Joy Netzel on her blog, we had fun, so stop by and check it out.

I'm pretty curious about Moonset, Kimberly! Both you and The Book Smugglers requested it, and I can't wait to hear what you think! Fab selection this week, enjoy! :)
I really want Hysteria now that I see it on all the blogs but I'm trying to keep my review pile in check. So difficult! LOL

Here's my STS
Have a GREAT day!
Old Follower :)
Jen it doesn't release till next year and I plan on posting my review around release date which why i grabbed it!
Thanks Kristen and yeah I am excited about Hounded!
Wow! So much great news this week! I can't imagine a four hour commute daily for 3 years :( I know friends in SoCal who don't bat an eye at that but they take the train. This is hard core driving: gas, alone time, no car pools. I'm over the moon for you guys!! What a relief!! YAY!!!
And thank you for catching me up on news around blogland! Please keep up the links - everyone has their own sphere they get around to and I might never hear of the happenings you hear about :)
FINALLY, You bought Hounded!!! Woot, Woot!!! Check out Kevin's website, too. The man is a hoot!!! He's a favorite author of mine just because he's such a cool author, along the lines of Scalzi cool.
hehehe..thanks Diana :)
I enjoyed your interview! Yep, your husband is definitely a keeper. :-)
Oh heck yes on the B&N card..so excited!
I cannot wait to try Moonset..it sounds good!
I agree, it made me feel all warm and fuzzy
Be someone's comment angel is such a great idea :D I have to take a look at that
That's great news about the hubs and not moving! You got some good books... I debated whether or not to request Hysteria.
I picked someone who gets low comments.
That's great about your husband's job! When we lived in Phx my husband I commuted two hours each day and it was not fun. So glad to live in OR and not have to do that. The commenting angel sounds like fun. I will have to pick someone even though I am pretty good about commenting daily on all my close friend's blogs. I was thinking of getting that Scandalous book and Hysteria but I passed, I hope I don't regret it. Getting signups everyday for Fire and Ice it is growing slow and steady! Have a great weekend. Peppermint mocha coffee.
Thanks Michelle and we are excited!
Thanks cupcake!
I hope you enjoy all of the new books and congrats to your husband for getting a job close by! ^.^
Sweet I am looking forward to those :)
Ahhhh! NIce haul. I want Hysteria like burning! I also really want to read The Rogue's Princess! The first two books in that series were super cute. :)

I got my eye on The Hysteria! And Hounded is (still) waiting in my bookshelf, I bought it like.. few months? ago, still haven't read it :/ But hopefully I'll read it one day.. :D
